You must download and install this software to use either TradeMaven Professional, AutoMaven, or TradeMaven Standard as your account status will dictate which type of software you have. Once you click the download button, save the file directly to your computer and install it by following any instructions.

The CME Group has changed the minimum tick size for the 30-Year U.S. Treasury Bond futures contract from 1/32nd to 1/2 of 1/32nd (from $31.25 to $15.625). If you are trading the ZB, you will need to upgrade to the most current version of TradeMaven. This upgrade involves just a few more steps than our standard upgrade process as it requires you to delete historical data files on your computer.

• Old contract: ZB/eCBOT (Use up to March 2)
• New contract: ZB/CME (Use starting March 3)

To ease this transition, we recommend that you upgrade to the new platform as soon as possible. The TradeMaven Support Team is available 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CST) to assist you.

For Windows XP:

• Uninstall Current Version
• Exit TradeMaven (if it is running)
• Shut down the eSignal data manager (if it is running).
• With the platform shutdown, go to the Windows Start menu and bring up the Control Panel
• From Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs.
• Once the list is populated, scroll down, select TradeMaven, and click Remove.
• When the uninstall is complete, you can close out the Add/Remove Programs list and the Control Panel After uninstalling from the Control Panel, there will still be a folder for TradeMaven left in the Program Files directory.
• Open Windows Explorer (right click the Start menu and select Explore).
• navigate to the following location: C:\Program Files
• Locate the folder for TradeMaven. Do not open it. Instead, right click the TradeMaven folder and select Rename from the menu that appears.
• Rename the folder TradeMavenOLD and click enter.
• Once the TradeMaven folder has been renamed you can close out the Windows Explorer.

You are ready to download and install the new version.

• Install TradeMaven version 4.3.1
• Once the download button is clicked, you will be prompted to Run or Save the 4.3.1 installer
• Select Save, and choose a location to save the installer to.
• The Desktop is a good choice to easily locate the file once the download is complete
• Once the download is complete, an icon will be created in the save location you specified. It will be labeled TradeMaven4.3.1.exe.
• Double left click this icon to initiate the installer program
• Follow the instructions on the installer, confirming the end user agreement and install location.
• Once the installer is complete, you will have two new icons for TradeMaven and Remote Support on the desktop.
• At this point you may delete the installer file if you would like.
• After installing 4.3.1, and before starting the program up, if you have unique files you want to keep, you must manually copy them over from the old folder to the new folder.
• Open Windows Explorer (right click the Start menu and select Explore), and navigate to the following location: C:\Program Files
• You will now have two folders for TradeMaven in the Program Files directory: TradeMaven and TradeMavenOLD Open the TradeMavenOLD folder and locate the Layouts folder Right click the file for your current layout and select Copy
• You must now click back on the Windows Explorer to move back to C: \Program Files
• Open the folder labeled TradeMaven, then open the Layouts folder Right click, and select Paste from the menu.
• The layout file will copy to the new installation. If there are other layout files, they can be moved by repeating the steps above
• Once all the necessary files have been moved the Windows Explorer can be closed out.
• Important: The first time you initiate the program, there will not be any existing layout file selected at the software logon screen.
• Select the layout file you normally use, enter the software password, and click Ok. On subsequent logins the software will automatically display the layout file you used for the previous session.
